Mi Tierra Restaurant - Tucson: Authentic Mexican Flavors with Live Music & Warm Hospitality

Mi Tiara - A Delightful Gem in Catalina, Arizona I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mi Tiara in Catalina, and I must say, it has quickly become my new favorite restaurant. Under new ownership for the past 18 months, the improvements made have truly elevated the dining experience. We visited on a Sunday night and were treated to live music by the incredibly talented Ted Ramirez, who entertained us with his original songs and mellow covers. The live music, which is available from Wednesday through Sunday with different singers each night, adds a charming touch to the ambiance. The service at Mi Tiara is exceptional. The owner, Carolina, personally came over to ensure everything was satisfactory, and our server, Stephanie, was attentive and kind throughout the evening. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel warmly welcomed. As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. We indulged in the Chile Relleno dinner and Larry’s Burrito special dinner, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. The Cadillac margarita we enjoyed was the perfect complement to our meals. To top off the evening, we shared a decadent fried ice cream for dessert, which was the perfect ending to our meal. Mi Tiara has certainly won our hearts, and we can't wait to return for another delightful experience. If you're in Catalina, Arizona, this gem is a must-visit!

Food was solid and reasonably priced. Chips and salsa were free and delicious. Live music on weekends with a local musician. Huevos Rancheros was average, but steak fajitas were excellent.

Excellent Mexican food. Charro beans are the best. The beef fajita’s are the most tender beef. Flavoring is superb. Hub’s got the Mexican Enchilada’s (green, shredded beef, chicken and white sauce, red sauce ground beef. He said all is great, but the green sauce really stood out. Excellent! Craig Plotner was singing a mixture of easy listening with his guitar. Our waitress; Estefany was wonderful and answered lots of questions. Gluten Free choices were easy at Mi Tierra.

My husband and I had a very pleasant experience dining here. It was our first time since this restaurant changed hands. We both enjoyed our meals of chicken sour cream enchiladas and beef fajitas. The atmosphere was great and they had some musical entertainment on the day we came. We'lll be back!

My family and I have loved Mi Tierra for years. The lunch specials are a major DEAL. We also think they make the best margaritas including for all of Tucson. Took updated photos of menu since it has changed a little. Always happy to support this local owned restaurant.

I stopped for gas across the street and decided to fuel myself up as well. The decor was so cute. I was greeted very kindly. My waitress was great. The food was exceptional. My margarita was really good. And there was live music.

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Catalina! We just found this gem! We enjoyed it so much we had to return right away. The decor is fun, festive and welcoming. They also have a nice patio area. Staff is always happy and so helpful. Carolina is very warm and so genuine. Food is so good that it's hard to choose from their menu. Everything our party tried was yummy! Beautiful presentation, too.. Lunch specials and taco Tuesday offerings are a deal. Love to try this sweet restaurant sometime when they have their live music. We saw many orders for take-outs so you know food has to be good.
